For those of you in the North Cotswolds looking for a lunch or tea/coffee and cake, pop into Martha’s Coffee House.  If you are on the road early, they will be open for bacon sandwiches too!  It is easily found on the High Street near the war memorial.

Looking for self catering holiday accommodation in the vicinity of the Devon/Dorset border?  Do you want to be near the coast, but not actually in the bustle of a resort?  Hawley Farm, Dalwood, near Axminster, may be the place for you. This working farm has two properties, The Wagon House and The Cider Press.  A warm welcome awaits and these barn conversions are excellently furnished and equipped.  This is a personal recommendation, not just an advert.

Looking for a break at the Welsh coast? Newport, Pembrokeshire is a great spot for walkers, on the coast or in the rolling countryside. Also, if you simply want to get away for a little peace.  Bryn Y Wawr sleeps four people.
